When I came to Microsoft in August 2020, Parag was one of the first team members to welcome me. I was soon assigned a role in assisting him with UX work using React. I was astounded by both Parag’s technical knowledge around UX design and development using React, as well as his ability to quickly, yet patiently, bring me up to speed. When I started to get familiar with the codebase and the work Parag had already completed, I noticed right away that he made testing and error handling a top priority, making sure to account for edge cases that could potentially cause future issues. The code that Parag produced also tended to be highly efficient. I noticed several instances where he came up with clever solutions to reduce API calls or frontend processing to reduce latency and improve the overall user experience. Along with Parag’s technical ability, he was also a great mentor for a new hire such as myself. He gave me great advice on how to best learn from the technical experience of each member of the team, as well as how to prioritize deadlines and communicate effectively with different layers of management. I am thankful to have Parag as a mentor so early on in my career.

Parag worked with me on the billing team and owned the UI stack, including the legacy and modern React based infrastructures. I found Parag to be thorough in his execution, for example, he built exhaustive test suite for the various UI scenarios and documented the same so other team members could self-serve. Parag was an active participant in our team meetings; he often shared the best practices he had learnt over the years working in different projects at Microsoft. White Labeled Storefront : Implementation of features on a White Labeled solution for partners who want to create a customized store front for their customers Parag is accountable and is ready to get his hands dirty to get the work done and learn new technologies/concepts.

It was great to have Parag part of my team during my tenure in MSN group. He is very methodical, shows perseverance in providing automation solutions for complex projects like MSN Money. He demonstrated leadership abilities by working with remote teams while taking care customer interaction at Onsite. He is great at Development, Automation and testing. Parag was very proactive while I he was reporting to me in Bing Ads, He always had a solution to technical problems. He saved a lot of manual efforts by his skill of automating tasks. I worked with Parag in Windows 7 Triage Team. He took initiative to design and propose the auto triage tool, that saved lot of efforts allowing to focus on new real failures. He is a good engineer, I wish him success in his endeavors and recommend him.

Parag was my Offshore lead in MSN Money. Parag is well versed in all areas of testing. He effectively supplements repetitive test using automation reducing the efforts in testing, providing repetitive results and speed in testing. He is smart in handling tricky situation and gets the results in an effective manner. He is also hands on at development and has found bugs in Code review stage. I was managing and assigning work items to Parag when we worked on Bing maps. He has good knowledge about Maps. He developed the MVC site for monitoring the health of our Servers. He took initiative in preparing BI dashboards using Kabana. He is technically strong and is very proactive looking for solutions. He is an asset to any team. I wish him all the best for his future.

Parag is a diligent engineer with good background in software skills. Has coding competencies and can work around road blocks. He is at his best in tooling work and has done tons of work around automation. He is a good tester and will put his foot down for issues that he tracks.
